MOBILE APP & LOGO REDESIGN
alooola, a forward-thinking financial advisory platform, blends expert human insight with modern technology to guide users toward long-term financial wellness. They approached us to help elevate their mobile experience, aiming to convey trust, professionalism and ease of use through a full design overhaul. Project goals included rebranding the app, developing a new visual identity and building a consistent design system for future scalability.
MOODBOARDS & DESIGN CONCEPTS
We kicked off with strategic exploration, creating moodboards to set the tone for alooola’s new visual direction. The goals were to establish trust and professionalism, essential for a financial product, along with retaining a friendly, accessible tone to welcome users of all financial backgrounds.
Each moodboard explored variations in typography, iconography, colors, and UI layout patterns. From these, we developed several design concepts tailored to the brand’s personality.
LOGO DEVELOPMENT
In tandem with the visual exploration, we reimagined alooola’s logo. The final mark—a set of intersecting geometric circles—symbolizes collaboration, harmony, and partnership. It visually reinforces alooola’s role as a dependable, human-backed financial guide.
STYLE GUIDE CREATION
To ensure consistency and scalability, we developed a comprehensive style guide that defined a new color palette, a typographic system, logo usage rules across screen sizes and platforms, and reusable UI components to streamline development.
PRIORITY SCREEN DESIGN
We designed priority screen templates including Performance, Portfolio, Holdings and Simulations. Infographics and data visualizations were prioritized to translate complex financial data into digestible, engaging visuals. Each screen was designed to empower users to understand, plan, and act on their financial goals confidently.
RESULTS
The newly rebranded alooola app launched in the Apple App Store in late 2024 with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Users responded to the cleaner design, improved usability, and elegant visual storytelling around their financial journey.
